Superintelligence

Superintelligence (also ASI, “artificial superintelligence”) describes a level beyond AGI. It does not exist, but it is discussed in research and philosophy because it could bring great opportunities and risks.

The central question is how to ensure that such a system respects human values and goals – the research field dealing with this is called alignment.
