Artificial general intelligence (AGI)
Also: Starke KI
Hypothetical AI that can learn and perform practically any intellectual task as well as a human.
AGI refers to a system that switches flexibly between arbitrary tasks, learns new things on its own and transfers knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
Whether and when AGI will be achieved is disputed, and there is no generally accepted definition or way of measuring it. The term nevertheless shapes the strategy of major AI labs and the debate about AI safety.
