Neural network
Also: Künstliches neuronales Netz · KNN · ANN
A brain-inspired computing model made of many connected units (“neurons”) that pass on weighted signals.
Each artificial neuron receives numbers, multiplies them by weights, adds them up and passes the result on through an activation function. Only the interplay of thousands to billions of such units produces powerful models.
Artificial neurons share only the basic principle with real nerve cells. They are mathematical functions whose weights are adjusted during training.
