An artificially generated, speaking person in a video who presents a given text.

AI avatars are used for training videos, product explanations or multilingual communication: you write the text and the avatar speaks it lip-synced in the desired language.

If a real person is reproduced, their explicit consent is required. Viewers should be able to recognise that they are watching an AI avatar.
