Voice cloning

Just a few minutes or even seconds of audio can be enough to imitate a voice convincingly. Legitimate uses include dubbing in several languages with your own voice or helping people who lose their voice.

At the same time the technology is misused for fraud, for example in fake calls from “managers”. Cloning other people’s voices without consent may violate personality rights.
