Training data

A model can only be as good as its data. If the data is incomplete, outdated or one-sided, the model inherits these weaknesses – up to discriminatory results.

For large models, training data often comes from publicly accessible web content, licensed sources and synthetic data. The origin, rights and data protection of training data are central legal questions.
