Speech-to-text (speech recognition)

Speech recognition (ASR, “automatic speech recognition”) transcribes dictation, meetings, interviews or phone calls. Modern models handle accents and technical terms well and can distinguish between speakers.

Swiss German dialects are harder for many systems than standard German; specialised models translate dialect directly into written German. When recording conversations, participants must be informed.
