Classification
A learning task in which inputs are assigned to one of several categories.
Examples: Is this email spam? Does the image show a defect? Which department does this customer request belong to? The model usually outputs a probability per category.
Quality is measured with accuracy, precision and recall, among others. For rare but important cases, accuracy alone is not a sufficient measure.
