Proof of concept (PoC)

A PoC uses real data and clear success criteria to test whether a use case is worthwhile – for example “80% of invoices are read correctly”. It typically lasts a few weeks.

It is important to consider later operation already in the PoC: data protection, integration with existing systems, ongoing costs and responsibilities.
